Large Shou Sugi Ban Reclaimed Wood Woodburned Mirror 60" x 20"
One of a kind rustic reclaimed wood mirror, handcrafted in Boston, MA. This piece uses the Japanese technique of shou sugi ban, which involves deeply charring, brushing and oiling wood to create a deep, rich, and weatherproof finish. The technique, along with light woodburning on the end grain of each individual piece, give the mirror an incredible depth. The entire mirror measures 20"x60", and has hardware to hang either vertically or horizontally, or simply lean against a wall. Perfect size for hanging above a bed, couch or mantel!
Please note that this is a made-to-order item, and these photos are of a sold order. However, we will recreate the look and feel of this piece as accurately as possible.
