Turquoise and Gray Shou Sugi Ban Reclaimed Wood Woodburned Mirror 21" x 23"
One of a kind rustic reclaimed wood mirror, handcrafted in Boston, MA. This piece uses the Japanese technique of shou sugi ban, which involves deeply charring, brushing and oiling wood to create a deep, rich, and weatherproof finish. The technique, along with light woodburning on the end grain of each individual piece, give the mirror an incredible depth. Each piece is then hand-dyed an incredible turquoise color which makes no two pieces look the same. The mirror is framed in a gray-stained pine.
The entire mirror measures 21"x23", and the dimensions of the mirror glass itself are 11" tall x 8.5" wide.
